Originally designed as a video-protest, the Nintendo ON aimed to show to the world, one of the ideas about the future of videogames that I always defended: a new entertainment system understood as a simulator of experiences and not exclusively a weapon of capitalist consumption.
This claim envisaged not only the future of virtual reality as a domestic system, but the nonsense of pivoting the videogame industry to focus on casual users, with products such as slot machines and not as experiences with soul and wealth in the spirit.
This video wanted to offer the opportunity to meditate on the new products that should be offered and supported by the most powerful companies and then compare them with what they really offer us.
